Electronic Music Workshops
Broad-minded's forward thinking electronic music workshops cater for a variety of users and age groups, ranging from age 9-16, adults and other aspects of community learning.
Areas we cover include;
Corporate - New Sound Management Workshop (Staff Team building)
Learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
Intuitive Music Making
These workshops focus on the learner being imaginative, learning new skills and being expressive whilst making electronic music. The workshops involve using interesting and intuitive grooveboxes, midi keyboards and software such as ableton live. Workshops vary from1 hour up to a full day. With on-going sessions and courses also available.
Age 9 +- Time, £6 for 1st session, £12 on the day or £30 for 3 sessions
The Groovebox club is at NPORS Ltd 12 & 13 Brunel Court, Rudheathway, Northwich.
In these workshops the participants will learn how to make electronic music using Grooveboxes. Users will create their own drum patterns, bass lines and melodies. They will also experiment and use effects to create variety. The workshop is aimed to be a creative music social event for young people aged 9+. This half or full day workshop focuses on producing a short track in pairs to aid team bonding, learning new skills and have fun away from the usual working day.
For all workshops prices will vary depending on equipment required, distance travelled, type of group/workshop, number of learners, resources required and preparation time. Reduced rates are available for continual sessions or courses.
